IN CONTRAST to recent public art on city sites in the Gorbals and Inverness, sculptor Matt Baker is working on five sites interpreting the wild and lonely landscape of Cairnsmore of Fleet National Nature Reserve, south-west Scotland. Here he tries out a template for a bronze element to be chained to the rock, a visual link to the disused Big Water of Fleet railway viaduct. Picture: DENIS INCH
